Garden Planted at Cesar ChavezOn October 7, 2006, about 30 people (most of them Greening Guerrero Block Captains) helped plant the triangular plot at the intersection of Cesar Chavez and Guerrero--a garden that was once cared for single-handedly by a neighbor for over 14 years. (He planted the first plant on October 7, too.) Once again, we worked with Flora Grubb of Flora Grubb Gardens, and the Department of Public Works' Bureau of Urban Forestry to create an acceptable design for this public right-of-way.
